The Nutrition Unit's work involves disseminating knowledge about nutrition and performing developmental work within the field of nutrition.
The Nutrition Unit is part of the Medical Clinic but works with all the hospital clinics. Its activities consist of:
- Dietetic Services
- Nutrition Team
- Research and education in the field of nutrition
The dieticians work on a consultation basis at the hospital's clinics and cannot currently take referrals from providers outside Danderyd Hospital and Danderyd Elderly Care Department. The Nutrition Team works on operational development within the field of nutrition throughout the hospital. It also offers internal and external educational services.
