Focus on collaboration in the chain of care
The directory of specialist physicians is a result of the hospital management's decision to assist in a purposeful and receptive manner in developing a vital and efficient local health care service. In dialogue with our referring doctors we have identified our goal in making it simpler to contact specialists and to increase accessibility for patients with particularly urgent needs.
Contact by consultation with a specialist physician
The clinics are listed alphabetically in the directory. Under the respective clinic section and the heading "Contact with specialist physician" you will find information about how best to come into contact with a specialist for a consultation.
Booking a sub-acute appointment
When the directory was introduced, the possibility of booking "sub-acute" appointments was also made available at our specialist physician clinics. These appointments are set aside for patients who do not need acute care but where for other reasons it is decided that an urgent specialist opinion is desirable. Booking of sub-acute appointments can occur by agreement with the specialist consultant. You can read more about this in the directory.
